About Us
If you grew up watching cartoons, you already get it.

The Show
A proof of concept building toward a full season.
E Dey Happen was created by Eris Ekanem and produced through Ekanem Stories for Wuruwuru.
Two episodes are out. Episode 3 is in production. The show follows Yatu, Beju, and Doja three friends navigating work, ambition, faith, and the particular texture of Lagos daily life. It is funny. It is eerie in parts. It is honest about the city.
The long-term goal is a full season and a network sale. Independent Arts is incubating the first season.
The Vision
We believe the best stories travel. EDH is Nigerian. It is set in Lagos. The pressures it describes — work, faith, ambition, the gap between who you are and who the city wants you to be — are not unique to Nigeria. something that earns it — one honest episode at a time.
Independent animation deserves a bigger stage. Our goal is to build
Why EDH
Animation is not a small thing to make.
Community is what makes it possible.
We are a small team. Making animation without the backing of a large studio means every episode is an act of will. What keeps it moving is the people who show up to watch, to share,
to say something about what they saw. EDH is not just a show. It is a growing record of what it takes to build one from the ground up — the hits, the misses, the decisions nobody talks about in the final product.
We want to make more stories. We want to tell them well. And we want the people watching to understand what went into making them.
